Vessel of Hope
A site-specific sound installation
The installation is composed of three elemental forces: water, light, and sound.
These diverse materials interact to create a delicate, sensory, and ever-shifting system –
where each vibration resonates in a unique way.
Sound ripples through the water, light refracts, and matter comes alive.
Situated in the southeast of Tel Aviv, the work is embedded in an urban fabric made up of diverse neighborhoods,
marginalized communities, and shifting identities.
Just as sound vibrates across the surface of the water, so does the human fabric
resonate with the living presence of the city.
It is the pulse beneath the surface – touching, stirring, animating.
The work echoes the place itself,
inviting the viewer to pause –
and listen to the soundtrack of the neighborhood.
